Overview

5.12kWh of storage that bolts into a rack.

The EG4 LL-S is a 48V lithium iron phosphate battery in the standard server-rack format. Each unit holds 5.12kWh, runs 100Ah at 51.2V, and clears 7,000-plus cycles at 80% depth of discharge. A touchscreen on the front shows voltage, charge, and cycle count, so you can check the bank without plugging anything in. It is built for residential storage, backup, and off-grid systems that need room to grow.

What it does well

5.12kWh per battery

100Ah at 51.2V of LiFePO4 storage in one rack slot. Add slots and the bank grows with the house.

Built-in touchscreen

Read state of charge, voltage, and cycle count right off the front panel. No laptop, no extra monitor.

Talks to most inverters

RS-485 and CAN ports for closed-loop comms with EG4, Sol-Ark, Victron, Schneider, Growatt, Luxpower, and Deye.

Parallel to 64 units

Start with one and stack out to 64 in parallel, up to 327.6kWh on a single bank.

Safety built in

E-Stop rapid shutdown and dual fire arrestors on board, so the battery shuts down clean when it needs to.

UL listed

UL 1973 recognized, UL 9540A tested, and UL 9540 listed, the ratings inspectors and utilities look for.

Where it fits

The LL-S is a solid pick for whole-home backup, daily storage, and off-grid builds that start small and expand later. Drop it in an EG4 battery cabinet, wire it to a FlexBOSS18 or another supported inverter, and add units over time. If you want a newer cell pack in the same footprint, look at the LifePower4 V2.
