Shop/Used Gear

Used gear.

We buy working solar gear, test it, grade it, and put it back on the shelf. A tested used panel or battery is the cheapest honest way into solar.

Before it lands here

Tested, graded, then listed.

Used gear sits in a weird spot. The price is great, the risk is real if nobody bothered to test it. So we test it.

Power test

Every panel goes on the bench under a calibrated load. We log the actual watts at standard test conditions and compare it to the nameplate. The number you see on the listing is the real one.

What you get

The panel and the connectors, tested before they leave the shop. No supplier datasheet stand-ins, no group averages. If it came off a roof, we say where and how old.

On the shelf right now

The current stock.

Stock moves. What is here today might be gone tomorrow. If a listing looks right, grab it.

370W Suntech Solar Panel
Suntech

370W Suntech Solar Panel

Used 370W panels we pulled off a 2022 ground mount ourselves, so we know how they were treated. At 44.8 pounds and 69 by 41 inches, each one is a good bit lighter than the 585W panels on the next shelf, and it reads about 41 volts open circuit. Every panel gets metered before it ships. They sell as-is, we don't warranty them, and we can't promise anything on Suntech's original coverage. Good for a shed, a barn, a well pump, or a first off-grid array where a scratch doesn't ruin your day.

SolarEdge P340 Power Optimizer
SolarEdge

SolarEdge P340 Power Optimizer

Used SolarEdge P340 optimizers, the kind that bolt one per module. Module-level MPPT means one shaded or dirty panel stops dragging the whole string down, and you get per-panel monitoring plus the module-level shutdown that rapid shutdown rules ask for. Rated for 340W modules up to 48 volts open circuit, which covers most high-power 60-cell panels. They only do anything on a SolarEdge inverter, so check what you're running first. Sold used and as-is, and worth metering before you build a string around them.

SolarEdge P401 Power Optimizer
SolarEdge

SolarEdge P401 Power Optimizer

Used SolarEdge P401 optimizers, 38 of them, off a 2022 ground mount we tore down ourselves. One bolts to each module and does module-level MPPT, so a shaded or dirty panel stops dragging the whole string down, and you get per-panel monitoring plus the module-level shutdown that rapid shutdown rules ask for. They fit high power 60 and 72-cell modules up to 60 volts open circuit. Watch the rating: SolarEdge listed the P401 at 400W when ours were built in early 2022, then re-rated the same model to 430W in a later datasheet, so size your string to 400W unless SolarEdge confirms otherwise for your serial. They only do anything on a SolarEdge inverter, and they sell used and as-is.

SolarEdge

SolarEdge SE11400H 11.4kW Grid-Tie Inverter

A sealed, never-opened SolarEdge SE11400H that came to us in a system buyout. It makes 11,400 VA on a 240V service at 99% CEC weighted efficiency, and it's built to run with SolarEdge power optimizers, which puts it in a grid-tie SolarEdge job or a service swap. This is not an off-grid or hybrid inverter. NEMA 4X enclosure, 38.8 pounds, commissioned from your phone through the SolarEdge SetApp. It sells as-is. The box is factory sealed, but we haven't verified the serial with SolarEdge, so treat any remaining factory warranty as unknown.

SolarEdge

SolarEdge SE7600H 7.6kW Grid-Tie Inverter

A sealed, never-opened SolarEdge SE7600H out of a system we bought. It makes 7,600 VA on a 240V service at 99% CEC weighted efficiency and takes up to 11,800W of modules across one or two strings. It's built to run with SolarEdge power optimizers, so it fits a grid-tie SolarEdge job or a service swap. This is not an off-grid or hybrid inverter, and it runs 240V only, no 208V. At 26 pounds it's the easier one to hang, and we have the 11.4kW if you need the capacity. It sells as-is, and since we haven't verified the serial with SolarEdge, treat any remaining factory warranty as unknown.

The honest part

Sold as-is, with one promise.

Used gear is sold as-is. The original manufacturer warranty is long gone by the time a panel reaches us, and we cannot extend one we never wrote. Once a used panel is on your roof, the weather and the years it already lived are part of the deal.

The promise we can make: the unit you receive matches its listing. If a panel arrives dead on arrival, damaged in shipping, or visibly different from the listing photo, send us a picture in the first 14 days and we will swap it or refund. We cover return shipping when the gear is the problem.

The fine print lives on Terms. Worth a read before you buy.

Got panels in the garage?

We buy working gear.

Panels (300W or higher), batteries, inverters, racking. Removed from a roof, left over from a build, sitting on a pallet. Send us photos, the brand and model, and how many you have. If the gear is healthy, we will quote you a number and arrange pickup.

Build the system first.

Pick a system in the builder, then fill in the panels from this shelf and spend less getting there. The builder shows you the wattage to match.
