Bigger brother of the 12K hybrid. Same solar-direct DC concept, sized for a 24,000 BTU load: open floor plan, two zones connected by a doorway, a barndominium, a small shop. Important difference: this one needs a 208 to 240 VAC circuit, not 115V. DC solar input is 150 to 380 VDC, up to 2,200W, 20A max. Plan for an 8 to 10 panel string sized to that window. SEER2 around 21, HSPF2 around 7.9. Slightly lower than the 12K because moving more heat per hour costs efficiency. Still well above old-style window units and most single-stage central ACs. This is the model that actually plugs into your solar array. Two power inputs: 115V AC from the grid, and 90 to 380 VDC straight from a string of panels (up to 1,100W, 12A max). Built-in MPPT prioritizes the solar input during the day and hands off to grid power when the panels aren't producing. That means a small array, four to six 300W panels in series, can run the mini-split for free during sunlight hours without an inverter in the loop. Off-grid customers can pair it with a charge controller and a small battery for after-dark cooling. Grid-tied homes use it as a daytime offset that runs whether or not net metering is in play. 12,000 BTU of cooling and heat-pump heating. SEER2 around 22.5, HSPF2 around 9.7. The window-mount version of the hybrid solar story. 12,000 BTU of cooling in a single chassis that drops into a standard window opening. Lower install lift than a wall-mount mini-split: no lineset, no outdoor unit, no roof penetrations. A window, a 115V dedicated 20A outlet, and the DC solar input if you want to use it. DC input is 75 to 350 VDC, up to 1,200W of solar (12 AWG PV wire, MC4 connectors). On a sunny afternoon, four 300W panels in series will run this unit straight from the array. R32 refrigerant, pre-charged (about 17 oz). Cools spaces up to about 600 square feet. Outdoor operating range 50 to 131°F. Cooling only on this model, no heat pump. 66 lbs total. Grid-powered comfort.

No DC solar input. To run these off solar you need a separate hybrid inverter and battery. Better fit if you already have a backup system or just want efficient cooling on grid.

The EG4 9K is the entry-size mini-split: 9,000 BTU of cooling and heat-pump heating, sized for a single room up to about 500 square feet. AC-only, runs off a 115V circuit. No DC solar input on this one (see the hybrid line for that). What matters: SEER2 in the high twenties, which means low cooling cost per watt-hour compared to a wall AC or a single-stage central unit. Inverter-driven (the compressor modulates instead of cycling on and off), which is what gets you both the efficiency and the quiet operation. Pre-charged with R32 refrigerant (the newer low-GWP refrigerant replacing R410A). Plug-n-Cool pre-vacuumed quick-connect lineset means a DIY homeowner can hook it up without a vacuum pump or a refrigerant license. Mini Split Wall Bracket kit

Mini Split Wall Bracket kit

The wall bracket holds the outdoor unit of a mini-split off the side of the house instead of on a ground pad. Useful when you have no level ground next to the install location, when you want to keep the condenser above snow or leaves or critters, or when the install runs straight up from a basement wall and you want the shortest lineset path. Steel construction with mounting hardware included. Sized for the typical 9K through 24K mini-split outdoor unit, lag-bolts into the wall studs. Pair with any EG4 wall-mount mini-split. The window unit doesn't need this.
