Batteries

Storage is what turns solar into power you own. Without a battery, your panels still go dark when the grid does. LiFePO4, 48V, server-rack and wall-mount, all expandable as you grow.

EG4 Battery Cabinet 6 Slot

EG4 Battery Cabinet 6 Slot

The EG4 6-Slot Battery Cabinet is the wall-mounted enclosure for stacking up to six EG4 rackmount batteries into a single bank. Each slot holds one 48V LiFePO4 server-rack-style battery, and the cabinet handles the cable runs, mounting points, and the side panels that keep the install looking clean. Six 100Ah batteries inside this cabinet builds out to roughly 30kWh of usable storage at 48V, which covers most whole-home backup or off-grid scenarios without needing a second cabinet. The arrangement keeps the comms and DC cabling inside the enclosure, with the inverter run out the top or bottom. Sold as the cabinet only. Batteries are sold separately. Pairs with EG4 rackmount lithium batteries like the LL-S and Lifepower4. Bolts to a wall stud and accepts batteries from the front.

EG4 Battery Rack (3 Slot)

EG4 Battery Rack (3 Slot)

The EG4 3-Slot Battery Rack is the smaller sibling of the 6-slot cabinet. It holds up to three EG4 rackmount batteries in a server-rack format and works as a free-standing rack or wall-mounted bank for smaller off-grid and backup builds. Three 100Ah batteries inside this rack lands at roughly 15kWh of usable storage at 48V, which covers a critical-load backup or a starter off-grid bank. Step up to the 6-slot cabinet if you're sizing for whole-home backup or a longer off-grid runtime. Sold as the rack only. Pairs with EG4 rackmount lithium batteries like the LL-S and Lifepower4. Cable management runs inside the rack, with the inverter connection out the back or top.

EG4 PowerPro Battery Paralleling Cables

EG4 PowerPro Battery Paralleling Cables

The EG4 PowerPro Paralleling Cables are the inter-battery DC cables and comms cables that connect EG4 PowerPro WallMount batteries into a single bank. One kit gets you the busbar jumpers, the inter-unit positive and negative cables, and the comms cable that ties the BMS units together for closed-loop communication. Use these when you're stacking two or more PowerPro WallMount batteries. The cables are sized and pre-terminated for the PowerPro lugs, so you're not cutting and crimping your own. The comms link is what lets the bank report a single state-of-charge to the inverter and balance current draw across all batteries. One kit covers one battery-to-battery connection. Order one fewer than the number of batteries in the bank (5 kits for a 6-battery bank). Plain busbars or generic copper cable can work in a pinch but don't carry the comms link the BMS needs to balance the bank.

Enphase IQ Battery 5P 5kwh
Enphase

Enphase IQ Battery 5P 5kwh

The Enphase IQ Battery 5P is a 5kWh modular AC-coupled battery from Enphase. Built around the same per-module microinverter approach as the Enphase IQ8 panels: each battery carries its own AC inverters, so the battery talks 240V AC to your panel directly without a separate hybrid inverter. The big advantage of the modular AC-coupled design is that scaling is simple. Add a second 5P for 10kWh, a third for 15kWh, and the system commissioning treats each battery as another node. The IQ System Controller 3 handles the grid-tie and backup transitions, and the IQ Combiner 5C is the panel-level integration point. Liquid-cooled cells, 10-year warranty, IP55 enclosure for indoor or garage mount (not full outdoor). Pairs with the Enphase IQ Combiner 5C and IQ System Controller 3 for a complete Enphase-stack install. The right pick when the rest of the install is already Enphase microinverters and you want a battery that stays inside the Enphase ecosystem.

Not sure which battery?

The builder sizes storage to your panels and the loads you want to keep on. It picks one that fits.
