NEMA 3R rated, which means it can sit outside without a separate roof or rain shield. Pre-cut knockouts in the bottom and sides for the conduit runs to the panel, the battery, and the PV combiner. Internal wire management keeps the lugs accessible during install and inspection.
The Buildable Conduit Box is the indoor or sheltered alternative if your inverter sits in a garage or utility room. The AllWeather is the right pick when the inverter is on an exterior wall or under a carport. Pairs with the 12000XP Top Plate when the install wants the top plate finish.

The 12000XP Top Plate is a small accessory for the EG4 12000XP inverter's conduit box install. It replaces a knock-out plate or fills a top opening on the conduit box assembly to keep the wiring routing tidy. Pairs with the EG4 AllWeather Conduit Box or the Buildable Conduit Box depending on which configuration is going under the 12000XP. The top plate is the small piece that completes the conduit-box stack: knockouts in the right spots for the conduit runs out of the top of the inverter, with a flat top surface that finishes the install cleanly. Sold individually. Order one per 12000XP install that needs the top piece (most do).

EG4 Buildable Conduit Box
The EG4 Buildable Conduit Box is the modular conduit box that mounts under an EG4 inverter for the DC and AC landings. It's the indoor or sheltered version of the AllWeather, designed for a garage, utility room, or sheltered exterior wall where the install doesn't need a NEMA 3R rating. The "buildable" name comes from the customer-configurable knockouts. You knock the ones you need for your specific conduit run pattern and leave the rest closed, so the same box works for grid-tied builds, off-grid builds, and battery-attached builds without a separate SKU. Pairs with the 12000XP, 18kPV, 12kPV, FlexBOSS18, and FlexBOSS21. Step up to the EG4 AllWeather Conduit Box when the inverter mounts on a fully exposed exterior wall.
