The workhorse rack battery.
The EG4 LifePower4 V2 is a 48V lithium iron phosphate battery in a server-rack case. Each unit stores 5.12kWh, runs on an internal 100A BMS, and is built from UL-recognized LiFePO4 cells. The V2 brings auto-addressing and an upgraded BMS, so closed-loop communication with an EG4 inverter comes up faster and stays reliable. It is solid hardware at a price that works for installers and DIY builds alike.

Closed-loop ready
CAN bus and RS485 ports plus a Protocol 6 DIP switch. The inverter and battery talk, so charging and SOC stay accurate.
Auto-addressing
V2 sets each battery's address on its own when units are paralleled, which cuts setup time on multi-battery banks.
Safety built in
Dual on-board fire arrestors and an E-Stop rapid shutdown. UL1973 recognized, UL9540A passed.
Scales to 64
Parallel up to 64 batteries for 327.7kWh total. Start small and grow the bank without swapping hardware.
The LifePower4 is the rack battery we reach for on whole-home backup and off-grid jobs. It drops into a standard battery cabinet, pairs with EG4 hybrid inverters, and the server-rack form keeps the install neat and code-compliant.
