EG4 Lifepower4 Lithium Battery
A 48V LiFePO4 server-rack battery that holds 5.12kWh and slots straight into a standard cabinet. The V2 adds auto-addressing and a Protocol 6 DIP switch, so closed-loop talk to an EG4 inverter sets up fast. Stack them as the bank grows, all the way to 64 units.

The workhorse rack battery.
The EG4 LifePower4 V2 is a 48V lithium iron phosphate battery in a server-rack case. Each unit stores 5.12kWh, runs on an internal 100A BMS, and is built from UL-recognized LiFePO4 cells. The V2 brings auto-addressing and an upgraded BMS, so closed-loop communication with an EG4 inverter comes up faster and stays reliable. It is solid hardware at a price that works for installers and DIY builds alike.
5.12kWh per unit
51.2V nominal, 100Ah of LiFePO4 storage in a single rack slot. Add units to size the bank to the house.
6,000+ cycles
Over 6,000 deep cycles at 80% depth of discharge. That is years of daily use before capacity starts to fade.
Closed-loop ready
CAN bus and RS485 ports plus a Protocol 6 DIP switch. The inverter and battery talk, so charging and SOC stay accurate.
Auto-addressing
V2 sets each battery's address on its own when units are paralleled, which cuts setup time on multi-battery banks.
Safety built in
Dual on-board fire arrestors and an E-Stop rapid shutdown. UL1973 recognized, UL9540A passed.
Scales to 64
Parallel up to 64 batteries for 327.7kWh total. Start small and grow the bank without swapping hardware.
The LifePower4 is the rack battery we reach for on whole-home backup and off-grid jobs. It drops into a standard battery cabinet, pairs with EG4 hybrid inverters, and the server-rack form keeps the install neat and code-compliant. If you want a battery with an integrated screen, look at the EG4 LL-S.

EG4 Battery Cabinet 6 Slot
The EG4 6-Slot Battery Cabinet is the wall-mounted enclosure for stacking up to six EG4 rackmount batteries into a single bank. Each slot holds one 48V LiFePO4 server-rack-style battery, and the cabinet handles the cable runs, mounting points, and the side panels that keep the install looking clean. Six 100Ah batteries inside this cabinet builds out to roughly 30kWh of usable storage at 48V, which covers most whole-home backup or off-grid scenarios without needing a second cabinet. The arrangement keeps the comms and DC cabling inside the enclosure, with the inverter run out the top or bottom. Sold as the cabinet only. Batteries are sold separately. Pairs with EG4 rackmount lithium batteries like the LL-S and Lifepower4. Bolts to a wall stud and accepts batteries from the front.

EG4 Battery Rack (3 Slot)
The EG4 3-Slot Battery Rack is the smaller sibling of the 6-slot cabinet. It holds up to three EG4 rackmount batteries in a server-rack format and works as a free-standing rack or wall-mounted bank for smaller off-grid and backup builds. Three 100Ah batteries inside this rack lands at roughly 15kWh of usable storage at 48V, which covers a critical-load backup or a starter off-grid bank. Step up to the 6-slot cabinet if you're sizing for whole-home backup or a longer off-grid runtime. Sold as the rack only. Pairs with EG4 rackmount lithium batteries like the LL-S and Lifepower4. Cable management runs inside the rack, with the inverter connection out the back or top.
