450V input opens up longer panel strings, which on a larger array means fewer parallel strings, fewer combiner connections, and less wire on the DC side. Two independent PV trackers let you split a roof into two orientations (east + west, or front + back) and run them through one controller.

The SmartSolar MPPT 150/35 is the small end of the 150V PV family. 150V max PV Voc on the input, 35A max charge current on the battery side. Auto-detects 12V, 24V, or 48V battery banks. The 150V input voltage range is generous enough to run a typical two- or three-panel string at high enough voltage to keep wire losses low. 35A on the battery side suits small to mid-size systems: RVs, marine builds, sheds, tiny homes. VE.Direct comms tie it to a phone over Bluetooth (the SmartSolar app on iOS or Android) or to a Cerbo GX.
