I first found Ape Solar by looking on the FB marketplace for some used panels for a small trailer project I was working on. I got to talking with Joshua and mentioned I was looking at doing solar on the house. His eyes lit up and he started showing me his system at the time. We started talking prices and I realized this was definitely an achievable goal. A few months later my wife and I pulled the trigger and ordered our equipment. 36 650 watt panels, 3 EG4 12000XP inverters, and 5 EG4 interior wall mount batteries. Joshua and his wife delivered everything to my house and shortly after, the install began. I learned a lot throughout the process and every question or problem I faced, Josh was just a phone call away with a solution. The system is working flawlessly and I couldn’t be happier. This was a huge undertaking, but with the help of Ape Solar, it was a little less cumbersome. I couldn’t do it without them! Thanks for a great experience and hopefully many years of energy independence!

Ape Solar is an excellent company to work with. Their prices are extremely fair and Josh is very customer oriented. They truly care about getting people the systems they need at the best price without the runaround like so many of the door knocker solar companies out there. Customer service was excellent and we could not be happier with how our system turned out. I highly recommend this team for any solar needs, and we will definitely be back if and when we do.

BLUF: APE SOLAR is THE BEST, DA BOMB, and THE BEES KNEES!!! (ha that should cover a few gens 😊) After touring their company/solar home in Gulf Breeze I knew this was the team for me! Josh & Jennie are so down-to-earth (the round earth btw), not once did I feel pressure to buy a product or hurry up and decide…I LOVE THAT!! LONGER STORY: I’d been looking at getting Solar for 5+ yrs but the price/ROI was just not worth it. Then I learned about DIY solar in mid-2025. Now I'm pretty technical but my drilling-holes-in-things-skills are questionable, so I hired Chris at 850SolarServices to install who thankfully partners with Ape Solar…together they’re a dynamic duo! Our 31 panel / 2 BATTERY install went/looks great & the Ape Solar equipment (EG4 & Tigo) runs beautifully! (It’s so cool having the house run on batteries at night!) Now the design/permit process took a bit, mainly because I decided to change hardware but the permits also took time because of the 2025 solar rush…but the team comms kept flowing the whole time! The system was designed/sized perfectly and the install was quick & impeccable! (It looks/runs SOOOO GOOD!) There are some hardware bugs we still gotta work out but Josh @Ape Solar) and Chris @850SolarServices are fantastic at scheduling follow-ups and again communication is TOP NOTCH! (so important) I would hire them again in a heartbeat!!!! 100% RECOMMEND! P.S. I swear that AI did not write this…pretty sure you can tell. Also this was just 1 cup of coffee…don’t give me another.😁
