EG4 3kw Inverter

$750per each

An inverter, an MPPT solar charge controller, and a battery charger in one box. 3,000W of continuous output, room for 5,000W of solar, and an 80A charger to keep the bank full. Right-sized for a cabin, a barn, an RV build, or a critical-load panel, and it stacks to 12 units when the loads grow.

Overview

One box. Solar, battery, and backup.

The EG4 3000EHV-48 is a compact all-in-one inverter that puts a 3,000W inverter, an MPPT solar charge controller, and a battery charger in a single unit. It runs 3,000W continuous, takes up to 5,000W of solar across a 500 VDC tracker, and charges a 48V bank at up to 80A. The LCD on the front gives you direct control of charge current, input priority, and the voltage windows the unit will accept.

What it does well

3,000W all-in-one

Inverter, MPPT charge controller, and battery charger in one box, so a small off-grid system comes together without a stack of separate gear.

5,000W of solar input

Room for more panels than the inverter rating, with a 500 VDC tracker that holds production as the sun moves and shade shifts.

80A battery charger

Charges a 48V bank fast off solar or a generator, so the batteries are topped up and ready when you need them.

Talks to EG4 batteries

Full BMS communication with the EG4 battery line, so the inverter charges and protects the bank the way the cells want.

Upgraded V2 hardware

Larger 2 AWG battery terminals, active cooling, and stronger circuit components. It is backward compatible with V1 units in a parallel stack.

Parallel to 12 units

Start with one and stack up to twelve for a 36kW system. The setup grows with the load instead of being scrapped for a bigger unit.

Where it fits

The 3000EHV-48 is the inverter we reach for on smaller off-grid jobs: a cabin, a barn, an RV build, a critical-load panel, or a 9,000 BTU mini split. If you need whole-home backup or grid interaction, step up to the EG4 12000XP or the FlexBOSS18.
