Same PowerControl, PowerAssist, ESS support, and Cerbo GX integration as the rest of the II generation. Up to three of these in parallel gives you ~12kW continuous, which covers most whole-home loads outside of summer cooling peaks.
UL1741 listed for US grid-tied use. The 5000VA size is a common sweet spot for residential storage builds where the 3000VA is a little tight on transient loads (well pumps, big AC compressors) and the 8000 is more inverter than the design needs. Five-year Victron warranty.

The MultiPlus 12/3000 is Victron's inverter/charger built around a 12V battery bank. 3000VA output, roughly 2400W continuous, with a fast-response transfer switch and a powerful charger sized for the bigger 12V house banks common on boats and large RVs. PowerAssist is the feature that earns its keep on shore power. When your shore connection is sized too small for a temporary surge (an air conditioner kicking on while the microwave runs), PowerAssist taps the battery bank to cover the gap, then quietly tops the battery back off when the surge passes. The MultiPlus 24/3000 is the 24V battery-side version of Victron's 3000VA inverter/charger, with UL1741 listing for US grid-tied applications. 3000VA output, roughly 2400W continuous. Same PowerControl, PowerAssist, and high-speed transfer switch as the rest of the MultiPlus line. 24V banks land in a sweet spot for mid-size systems: lower DC current than a 12V build for the same watts (which means smaller wire and smaller fuses on the battery side), and more inverter options than a small 48V build. Common on serious off-grid cabins, larger marine banks, and farm or shop installs where 48V feels like overkill. UL1741 listing means this machine can be deployed in a US grid-tied install where the AHJ requires a listed inverter. Pair it with the right battery and a Victron Cerbo GX for full ESS functionality. The MultiPlus 48/8000 is the largest single-unit MultiPlus in the lineup. 48V battery side, 8000VA output, roughly 6400W continuous, with a 110A charger for putting energy back into a large battery bank quickly. This is the size of unit you'd reach for on a whole-home off-grid install where one machine handles the load instead of paralleling smaller units. PowerControl lets it share a limited shore or generator input without tripping breakers, and PowerAssist covers transient surges off the battery bank. Up to three of these can be paralleled for ~24kW of continuous capacity on bigger systems.
